What starts here changes the world.
A culmination project to visually support my college essays about the importance of design. I wanted to direct a shoot that would go hand-in-hand with text about gender and speculative themes. To peer through academic life is to bring back images of campus, rooms, and empty chairs. Completing my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts constructed the person I am today and by using InDesign to create a magazine layout for my essays was a huge challenge. Many of the design choices I make are based on the impact and how rules can be broken yet still look visually appealing. Even though technology is on the rise in terms of gaining information, I think layout design a lost art because every choice made supports the images, text, and paragraphs.
