Graphic Design and Marketing, 2023-24
As a graphic designer, my responsibilities included creating graphics for marketing, branding, and sales at the Moody Center in Austin.
I created custom wallwraps, posters, and postcards for artists including Depeche Mode, Rebelde, Fall Out Boy, Olivia Rodrigo, Lauren Daigle, KISS, Arctic Monkeys, and Peter Gabriel. I also assisted the Creative Manager with projects around the arena including signage, LED ribbons, projectors, candy/popcorn carts, merchandise, wayfinding, and reformating many artists admats that performed at the venue. I also created graphics for public outreach through social media and email since the arena is in close proximity to the University of Texas. Each show is curated around the collaboration of the artists’s style with the images of Austin, Texas.
Many of the projects were created around a concept that included how the fans knew the artist and how the artist would know Moody Center. We prioritized the experience each performer would have when they visit Moody Center, so creating custom art for the tour was an amazing job as a designer to dive deeper into branding for each artist.
Designed specifically for concerts, this modern arena provides state-of-the-art amenities and top-tier hospitality for artists and fans. Moody Center is the first of its kind in the industry with an unrivaled partnership between Oak View Group, Live Nation/C3 Presents, The University of Texas at Austin and Minister of Culture, Matthew McConaughey. Moody Center is named in honor of a $130M grant given to the University of Texas from Moody Foundation which has supported museums, libraries, universities and hospitals throughout Texas for over 75 years.
