Resound Presents is the one stop shop for the coolest live-music experiences and creative events in Central Texas. Resound is an an independent live-music, creative events, and marketing agency based in Austin, TX. Venues included in these live-music areas include Parish, Empire, Mohawk, Paper Tiger, and Paramount Theatre.
My responsibilites included making graphics to announce weekly concerts around Austin and San Antonio on several social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. I also edited many video ads for the shows to gain traction and new outreach potential audiences. I also reformated many artists tour graphics to fit specific sizes and formats to reach announcements deadlines.
Many of our outreach was localizing with Austin’s underground music festivals, events, and bands that needed more advertising than popular artists. The graphic design for each project centered around undergound culture and graphics like graffiti, ink press, and stamps. Working in the live music industry made me accustomed to creating graphics on the fly while still being connected to current trends and artists that audiences connect to all around Texas.
